Summer

Well it has been a while...again. We have been doing the summer stuff, once again, we have lost track of time. It is almost over. We have done several things this summer, all of which have been small and fairly simple. I think sometimes those are the things which leave some of the smallest memories, but, those small memories have some of the loudest voices.
The summer started with the young family reunion. This is always an enjoyable time. I do not think anyone could quite tell us why we enjoy it but for some strange reason we do. This year was one of those years which we do not know why? It sucked! There was so much tension between The two of us and my parents. We have felt that Mac has fallen behind and we were prepared to raise him out here in a place which has better schools and opportunities for him. After some discussion and consideration my parents felt like their world would end if we were to care for him so they put an end to all of it. The reunion ended for Melissa and I and my parents with one hell of an argument and some soar feelings, however, I feel at ease. I think that a lot was said and done which needed to be said and done. I think i left that day knowing where we are and want to be. Life is...how you see it. You choose what it is. I find it very interesting how different the world sees things. I think is is saddening and hard to swallow sometimes how little the world understands life and our mortal existence. I do not claim to understand the secrets of existence, however, I know that the Gospel is true and the answers are therein. I hope one day our friends and family who are lacking this knowledge can find and understand it.
We have also had some very good friends come back into our lives. I do not doubt the reasons why. We have missed them for a while and they suddenly called out of the blue and asked to meet and discuss. I did and we were able to get over the hurdles we were against. Shortly after we were able to reconcile our differences, The lord saw it fit to remind us all just whose plan it is. Our friends lost their baby to complications just eleven months into her life. I do not know if we have been able to help them through it. We have tried to be there as much as time allows. One thing I do know, life is short, family is great, most of the time they are better at their own homes, but friends keep life where it needs to be. Right in perspective.
The end of June we traveled south for the wedding of one of Mel's cousins, Jill. It was a lot of fun to have all of Mel's family there. There is never time to think when they are all together though. Teresa has one speed, OVERDRIVE. that speed consists of many overs; over plan, over schedule, over exhaust, over do, over fill and over drive us nuts. Be love her to death though. on this trip she was actually pretty relaxed. (maybe the lack of her oldest boys had something to do with that). Speaking of over due!! her BLOG :)
Independence day was fun we traveled down to Ephraim to see Melissa's family and be with them. We attended the festivities and hung out for a while. It is always nice to get away.
Kyle and i terminated our contract and are no longer partners. I have my own company now. Precision Cabinet & Mill, this is a DBA of Piece of The Rock inc. It is up to me though. So far i do not know what to do i have so much work and not enough time to do it. Keep plugging I guess.
The rest of the month has just flown by. Not much to exciting has taken place. We are still having no luck in the kiddo department. That sucks!!
Anyway life is great as long as we all stay focused on the importance of life. Its not about the crap we all worry about. It is about the stuff we all seam to forget about. Remember the small things, For they are great!

Who are the Keels

Kelly and Melissa met on April 1st 2005. They were set up on a blind
date by a couple friends from their jobs. One of Kellys electricians
was married to one of Melissa's front office people, Andy and Tona
Fulmer. Thanks to them, they became Kelly and Melissa.
After dating for a few months they became engaged and entered into
the covenant of marriage on December the fifteenth 2005.
While they were engaged they began to build their home in
pringville Utah. This is where they currently reside and yes they are
still building the same home. Kelly is a builder and has done the
majority of the work. It has become a home that will keep them busy
for a while. At just over five thousand feet it is a lot of house and
project. Besides the financial expence the home has cost time and one
of Kellys digits. Worth every ounce though.
Melissa is a Dental Hygienist for two offices and four dentists
in Utah Valley. Her Monday, Wednesday office is in Provo for Dr.
Larry Braithwaite. Her tuesday, Thursday office is a mile from her
home and has a father son team and an outsider. Dr.'s Rulon and
Jared Condie and Dr. Brian Tuft. She enjoys her job and it keeps her
busy.
Kelly, on top of the house, has recently purchased a cabinet shop
and is still selling granite counter tops for Rock Solid. Once the
economy turns again, he plans on renting a space and building custom
building components from furniture to stair parts(Treads and Risers).
Kelly grew up raising English Springer Spaniels. Soon after moving
into their home Kelly talked Melissa into a puppy which became Cinna.
Melissa soon fell in love and became used to a dog around. Cinna is
definitely Kellys dog though. Two years after Cinna came into the
family Melissa Came home and told Kelly about a patients friend who
had Springer pups. Several hundred dollars and many headaches later
the marrige was official and Cinna became Cinna and clumsy Jake.
Melissa is very attached to this clumsy dog regardless of all the drool.
Kelly, Melissa, Cinna, and Jake are happy living in Springville.
Kelly and Melissa have been trying since marriage to add human beings
to their family but have been unsuccessful so far. Hopefully soon but
for now it Kelly and Melissa, the two human beings and Cinna and Jake
the two human dogs
