Christmas Party

Well another week has gone by and craziness is still in the lead. We had our Christmas party on the Fifth and it was great. We had a great turn out of friends and family. We were able to play games which everyone participated in and had a blast. There were several reports of people being sick the following day because they laughed so much. The food was great no they did not get sick from it. We had food for the whole town and it turned out wonderful. There were two pork butts,a turkey, a ham, several salads, a couple casseroles, a few desserts and I spent all day making home-made roles. It was a chaotic day of preparation but well worth it. i think the pics will say the rest. Thank you to all of you who were able to make it and have a blast with us.

Thanksgiving

Well this has been one hell of a week. We have both been so busy at work and have had so much other crap to do that it feels like we have had no time to rest, sleep, or relax.
We went to Melissa's parents home for the holiday which turned out nice. The only one in the family that was not able to make it was Bryan, he had to work. We all wish he could have been there but we had fun anyway. The food was great and it was nice to be away from our normal hussle and bussle. We came home Thursday night and planned on working on Friday but that did not happen. We spent the day trying to get caught up on all the things we needed to do. By the way...we are still not caught up but it was great to spend the day together. That is the first day in a long time we have been able to spend together. We all need more of those days.
Saturday Jason, Christin, their kids and the two of us all got up early, went to a Pauls house and began on the trek to spring city to find X-mas trees. We went to Spring City where you have to stand in line till 9:00 to get a permit then go up and cut a tree. This is a major family tradition for Pauls family, they are die hards. they have it planned out so much that someone goes up at three or four in the morning to save the spot then the rest of us arrived at about seven and broke out the camp chefs and cooked up one hell of a breakfast. We had it all, hashbrowns bacon sausage eggs and all the drinks you could drink. It was an exciting day that did not have a dull moment. We arrived back home at just the right time Nate and Karen returned to the house with my trailer. They borrowed it to move all their stuff to cedar city. When thy returned we went up to Pauls and picked up the trees. Once they left we had the Meyers over for a hot-tub relax party which was nice. then the meyers left and we brought the tree in and set it up. when we ran out of lights we went to bed. The night turned into hell for me I got sick. I was unable to sleep because i was too busy doing the bathroom things. It was one of the worst stomach flues i have ever had. I spent Sunday in bed or on they toilet. not fun but hey it seems to be over now, so off to work we go...

Update

Well life has been crazy the last several weeks. I actually have became terribly busy with work, which is kind-of odd for this economy. I have enough work to get me through the winter clear till May or June. I was beginning to worry about things since i just purchased the cabinet shop. It is amazing how and when blessings fall upon us all.
Melissa and I are preparing for our next big party, which will be held on December the fifth. We will be serving dinner and playing several games. It should be a blast. we are looking forward to it even though we are so dam busy.
We have been doing a ton of vinyl lately which has been nice we have finally broken even on the purchase. We can finally make a little money with it.
We traveled to Bluebell last Sunday to pick up the first of three beef we had slaughtered. yummy It is nice to have work to do and food in the freezer.
With all we have to do we have decided we need to commit the worst of all sins and decorate for the holidays this weekend. I know Shut up i swore I wouldn't do it before thanksgiving but we need it done so we are doing it.I hope I will be forgiven for this mess.
Well till next time when i have another free min have fun and good luck loosing your ass in the economy:)

Second Halloween Party

Halloween night Kelly Melissa and the Meyers all went out to a night of Trick-or-Treating and partying. We started at Christins parents house for a quick dinner and visit then we strolled the streets near their home the get the loot. Harley was the 80's chick, Dakota was the bloody Surgeon and Griffin was the fireman. This time both Christin and Jason was wal-mart door greeters. Mel was the devil and i was a mummy. Then we went to their grandmothers home and visited for a few min. Finally, we arrived at the umpa-lumpa's party. This night was amazing as well. Melissa and I are very blessed to have wonderful friends. As we go through life there are usually very few people who you could count as "FRIENDS" and we are lucky enough to have a few. People who would do what it takes to help you, to tell you the truth, to forgive you, be there for you, to laugh at you, to slap you around, and still at the end of the day, thank you and care about how you are doing. We have that and we are dam lucky. Most of the time you can't even do half of that with your blood relitives, not to mention people who started out as strangers.

Halloween Party

Kelly and Melissa threw one hell of a party Saturday. Jason and Christin Meyer came over and decorated all day then at seven o'clock the guest's began to arrive. This was a mandatory costume party in celebration of Halloween. We had everything from umpa-lumpa's to the wal-mart door greeter. Fred and |Wilma showed up to break into the era of big breast and country music with Dolly Parton. The tooth fairy showed up. There was a female jock, a ladybug and a duo from sat. night live. A vampire had was following a hunter around waiting for a bloody kill. There was an appearance of two of our well respected women of the armed forces. Cesar brought a swiss tavern attendant and the hillbillies came as well.
The psychic let everyone know how crazy we all are and we felt ripped off because we all know we are crazy. Just kidding it was a great thing. We all had lap dances...... it is a game where you are asked a bunch of yes no questions and if you can answer yes you move right one chair. If not, you stay put and some one sits on your lap. it was a hilarious game. Then we played musical bags of clothing which was also hilarious. the theater was running Dance Dance Revolution. i don't know how he managed his oxygen tank but the wal-mart man kicked ass
The party was a huge success. we all had a blast. We wereable to finish things up aroung the house just in time for the fun. the back yard is really taking shape and so is the interior of the house. with any luck it will not be long now.

Who are the Keels

Kelly and Melissa met on April 1st 2005. They were set up on a blind
date by a couple friends from their jobs. One of Kellys electricians
was married to one of Melissa's front office people, Andy and Tona
Fulmer. Thanks to them, they became Kelly and Melissa.
After dating for a few months they became engaged and entered into
the covenant of marriage on December the fifteenth 2005.
While they were engaged they began to build their home in
pringville Utah. This is where they currently reside and yes they are
still building the same home. Kelly is a builder and has done the
majority of the work. It has become a home that will keep them busy
for a while. At just over five thousand feet it is a lot of house and
project. Besides the financial expence the home has cost time and one
of Kellys digits. Worth every ounce though.
Melissa is a Dental Hygienist for two offices and four dentists
in Utah Valley. Her Monday, Wednesday office is in Provo for Dr.
Larry Braithwaite. Her tuesday, Thursday office is a mile from her
home and has a father son team and an outsider. Dr.'s Rulon and
Jared Condie and Dr. Brian Tuft. She enjoys her job and it keeps her
busy.
Kelly, on top of the house, has recently purchased a cabinet shop
and is still selling granite counter tops for Rock Solid. Once the
economy turns again, he plans on renting a space and building custom
building components from furniture to stair parts(Treads and Risers).
Kelly grew up raising English Springer Spaniels. Soon after moving
into their home Kelly talked Melissa into a puppy which became Cinna.
Melissa soon fell in love and became used to a dog around. Cinna is
definitely Kellys dog though. Two years after Cinna came into the
family Melissa Came home and told Kelly about a patients friend who
had Springer pups. Several hundred dollars and many headaches later
the marrige was official and Cinna became Cinna and clumsy Jake.
Melissa is very attached to this clumsy dog regardless of all the drool.
Kelly, Melissa, Cinna, and Jake are happy living in Springville.
Kelly and Melissa have been trying since marriage to add human beings
to their family but have been unsuccessful so far. Hopefully soon but
for now it Kelly and Melissa, the two human beings and Cinna and Jake
the two human dogs
