Summer

Well it has been a while...again. We have been doing the summer stuff, once again, we have lost track of time. It is almost over. We have done several things this summer, all of which have been small and fairly simple. I think sometimes those are the things which leave some of the smallest memories, but, those small memories have some of the loudest voices.
The summer started with the young family reunion. This is always an enjoyable time. I do not think anyone could quite tell us why we enjoy it but for some strange reason we do. This year was one of those years which we do not know why? It sucked! There was so much tension between The two of us and my parents. We have felt that Mac has fallen behind and we were prepared to raise him out here in a place which has better schools and opportunities for him. After some discussion and consideration my parents felt like their world would end if we were to care for him so they put an end to all of it. The reunion ended for Melissa and I and my parents with one hell of an argument and some soar feelings, however, I feel at ease. I think that a lot was said and done which needed to be said and done. I think i left that day knowing where we are and want to be. Life is...how you see it. You choose what it is. I find it very interesting how different the world sees things. I think is is saddening and hard to swallow sometimes how little the world understands life and our mortal existence. I do not claim to understand the secrets of existence, however, I know that the Gospel is true and the answers are therein. I hope one day our friends and family who are lacking this knowledge can find and understand it.
We have also had some very good friends come back into our lives. I do not doubt the reasons why. We have missed them for a while and they suddenly called out of the blue and asked to meet and discuss. I did and we were able to get over the hurdles we were against. Shortly after we were able to reconcile our differences, The lord saw it fit to remind us all just whose plan it is. Our friends lost their baby to complications just eleven months into her life. I do not know if we have been able to help them through it. We have tried to be there as much as time allows. One thing I do know, life is short, family is great, most of the time they are better at their own homes, but friends keep life where it needs to be. Right in perspective.
The end of June we traveled south for the wedding of one of Mel's cousins, Jill. It was a lot of fun to have all of Mel's family there. There is never time to think when they are all together though. Teresa has one speed, OVERDRIVE. that speed consists of many overs; over plan, over schedule, over exhaust, over do, over fill and over drive us nuts. Be love her to death though. on this trip she was actually pretty relaxed. (maybe the lack of her oldest boys had something to do with that). Speaking of over due!! her BLOG :)
Independence day was fun we traveled down to Ephraim to see Melissa's family and be with them. We attended the festivities and hung out for a while. It is always nice to get away.
Kyle and i terminated our contract and are no longer partners. I have my own company now. Precision Cabinet & Mill, this is a DBA of Piece of The Rock inc. It is up to me though. So far i do not know what to do i have so much work and not enough time to do it. Keep plugging I guess.
The rest of the month has just flown by. Not much to exciting has taken place. We are still having no luck in the kiddo department. That sucks!!
Anyway life is great as long as we all stay focused on the importance of life. Its not about the crap we all worry about. It is about the stuff we all seam to forget about. Remember the small things, For they are great!

mid May

Well life has been a riot. Kelly is slammed at work. We hope this means he will soon be bringing home pay but who knows. It is nice to be able to do what he wants though.
Nothing has changed with Melissa, Not even pregnancy. We think that they will go see a specialist in the coming month or two. Clo med. is not working.
We sold all of the puppies so we are back to a quiet house and lonely dogs

yellowstone

Well Yellowstone was great. We all had a great time. We think?? Melissa and Kelly reserved their condo. for everyone. Melissa had her parents, Bryan, Jenessa, Josh, Nate, and Karen, Ashley and Taylor. Kelly's family also came. So did some of their friends, Kyle and Cheryl Belnap. ( this is Kelly's business associate and his wife. We would say partner but in this day partner is gay and that is well never mind)
We were fortunate to be able to see alot of animals and have a ton of fun. We were able to see both Grizzly and Black bear in the park, We were able to see the falls lots of elk and plenty of bison. We saw a couple deer a fox a few coyotes and lots of different fowl. But most important it was nice to get out and not have to worry about home and work. The little kids did well and so did all of the big ones. We would just like to say thanks to those who made it we appreciate you all. We love you all and hope you enjoyed it. We sure did and we enjoyed your company. Thank you for taking time out of your crazy schedule to spend time with us.
here are some photos to tell the rest of the story.

Well it has been a while since we posted anything, we apologize for that. Life has been crazy...which is pretty much par for the course. Well we have still, for the second month, been unsuccessful in conceiving a child with the help of fertility drugs. We will have to keep trying I guess. We are now past the three year mark. Mel is still working at both offices and enjoys her time at each. It seams that the economy is not hitting her field as hard as we thought it might. We are truly grateful for that.
Kelly has been kind of nuts with work. There have been several jobs come and go rapidly which has been very stressful, however, he has had so much work that he has been needing to hire someone to assist with it for a while now. Fortunately, a neighbor and friend up the street has not been as lucky with work, however, he is licensed and insured so when he offered a partnership we discussed it and thought about it for a while slept on it, and finally decided to do it. Kelly is now part of PARADISE VALLEY CONSTRUCTION SERVICES. Kyle Belnap and Kelly have a ton of work. With the cabinet shop there has been a struggle with electricity. Since most of the equipment has three phase power requirements it has been a struggle. Up to this point we have had to rent a generator from Ace Rents. I had an old employer and friend tell me a trick from the army which involves a separate three phase motor. I was told by at least five different electrical contractors that my friend was ful of crap. But I felt they were full of crap. We have been watching KSL for a motor and finally found one. After a long short trip to bountiful early Thursday morning we were the proud owners of a motor. We got home and tried for a while to start the power. It did not work Kyle and I then went with another friend to deliver a piano. When we returned we decided to try a couple more times. On the first time the motor kept running on 220 power. We looked at each other with the "holly shit" look and then plugged the planer into the source and it worked. We now have three phase power. It doesn't make sense how two plus zero makes three, in the twisted world of an electrician. So to all of you who told me that it would not work ha ha eat it it did and does work. We are now able to do all and any work that comes our way. So if you know of anyone who needs anything in the realm of construction, we have a commercial contractors license. Nothing will stop us or be too big for us.
Kelly and Melissa are down to two puppies. The economy has hurt that business however, we were not able to even get half of what we received last year out of the puppies. With that said we will not be having our dogs bread again for quite a while. They are cute and fun but they are not free puppies. We are down to 175 on the price. A year ago we received 500 out of most of them. That has hurt.
This week we will embark on a journey to Yellowstone nat. Park with family and friends. When we return we will post again. Until then remember...electricians don't know every trick in the book, but, army veterans know most tricks. In order to keep us all safe they must learn tricks trust them and believe them.

Puppies

Well last Tuesday we woke to ten puppies and a mountain of work ahead of us, but,the money will be awesome. Puppies are a ton of work but we are up for it. Last year we had 7 and were able to sell all but one for an average of 400$. They are a lot of fun and with the way things are going it will be nice to have a few extra dollars. If anyone knows anyone who needs a good bird dog here they are. We ended up with five and five, males and females. English Springer Spaniels AKC Registered

Here is Mom feeding A puppy.

Aren't they beautiful like their mom and dad

Another update

Well here we go. This has already been a crazy couple weeks. Kelly has been trying to keep up with all the crap that has piled up and Melissa has been hard at work as well.
Over the last weekend we traveled down to Cedar to visit Nate, Karen, and the girls. It was nice to get away from all the stuff up here. It is amazing how fast Taylor is growing. We were sad to leave the heat of the south to return up here to this dam inversion. Luckily the storm has began to role in and it has blown part of it out.
Cinna is a couple days away from having puppies again which is exciting but depressing at the same time. The money is great, the puppies are awesome, but the time of year sucks badly. We will have to put her and the babies in the old shop so they survive.
We will be having a Super Bowl party/watch here at the house. If anyone wants to come feel free. We would love to have ya here. Rick wanted one of us to do it so since we have the theater done, we were already planning on one so here it will be.
Well there has been plenty of things happen lately worthy of blogging about, but we have been busy so it hasn't been done but here is a brief overview:1. ********** ******************* during the new years family get together 2. Rick told Karen to get a boob job 3. tubing was a blast 4.We are over half way finished paying off the tools (cabinet shop) 5.Still not prego 6.we have a new pres(ummmm)7. We went to the draper temple open house 8. we have no money. so anyway as you can see there is plenty of shiz in our household but you gotta keep kicking against the pricks i guess. We will We love you all.

Another one down

Well it has come to an end. We are so glad that it is over. 2008 was nice but, now that it is gone it is nicer.
Still no baby, shut up. We are trying so get off it.
Mel is still working at the same places and i am still doing whatever it takes.
The house is still not completed and i know...don't remind me.
Cinna is pregnant again. That will be fun in the spring again. It is also a nice springtime vacation bonus.(if we can sell them)
We now have a dumb cat. Mel says cute kitty. (kookoo) It just showed up. i hate cats but i hate mice more and it has caught one so it can stay. It lives in the garage, and hates Cinna and Jake. Well we all hate Jake's slobber so i can't blame her for that. but Cinna is perfect so that is why it is a stupid cat.Mel named her Midnight, i call her kneepooss. I do not know why. Yes, she is a black cat w/green eyes. She looks like she is half squirrel.
Secrets On The Wall, our vinyl company has finally done well. It has finally broken even so that is good. I have found some vinyl that glows-in-the-dark..but, it is 180$ for a ten yard role. So, we are putting all of the money from the machine back into it for that stuff. I still should be able to do ok with it. Here is a little secret.....the vinyl for the average tile has a cost of less then a quarter, the rest is all mark up. so the Glow will cost us about 2 bucks so if I charge five we will be ok.
I have purchased a , skid-steer and a cabinet shop. i know that is what i used to bitch about Marlin for but.....it is fun. We will make it work. With the economy being the way it is you need to be diversified.
We just had our third anniversary. Boy time flies while you are in prison. Ha Ha we are having a blast. We wish we had some brat's to share it with though. but neener neener ya-all, Our kids are angels, so yes we can critique all of yours. Yes we do. Don't you wish sometimes we all could be so luck as to have the perfect knowledge back as we did in the beginning. I bet we would all shit our pants.
We finally had pictures taken to give to our families and we screwed them up I guess. We were informed this past weekend they were supposed to have Ashlee in them. (Ashlee is Nate and Karen's little girl our niece) So we will have to redo them for her. She is so cute.
We mad major progress on the yard in 2008. The back is nearing completion. We are ready to finish up the sprinklers and then sod-it. it is pretty close to being done. The deck is all in. We need to do a little rail down the stairs and it is finished. The patio is done(pavers) kind-of. i need to tear out a section to run my gas lines under them. We have been "finding pavers" and boy we have "found" plenty. We will be replacing our driveway this year with pavers and concrete in a lattice design. Lots of work.
Well that was a fraction of our year in a nut-shell. We have had a good time. We hope it just gets better before I check out. We are grateful for our friends and family(who ....well some are our friends too)too. We love you all and hope you know I am usually teasing or just full of shit. Have a great 2009.

Who are the Keels

Kelly and Melissa met on April 1st 2005. They were set up on a blind
date by a couple friends from their jobs. One of Kellys electricians
was married to one of Melissa's front office people, Andy and Tona
Fulmer. Thanks to them, they became Kelly and Melissa.
After dating for a few months they became engaged and entered into
the covenant of marriage on December the fifteenth 2005.
While they were engaged they began to build their home in
pringville Utah. This is where they currently reside and yes they are
still building the same home. Kelly is a builder and has done the
majority of the work. It has become a home that will keep them busy
for a while. At just over five thousand feet it is a lot of house and
project. Besides the financial expence the home has cost time and one
of Kellys digits. Worth every ounce though.
Melissa is a Dental Hygienist for two offices and four dentists
in Utah Valley. Her Monday, Wednesday office is in Provo for Dr.
Larry Braithwaite. Her tuesday, Thursday office is a mile from her
home and has a father son team and an outsider. Dr.'s Rulon and
Jared Condie and Dr. Brian Tuft. She enjoys her job and it keeps her
busy.
Kelly, on top of the house, has recently purchased a cabinet shop
and is still selling granite counter tops for Rock Solid. Once the
economy turns again, he plans on renting a space and building custom
building components from furniture to stair parts(Treads and Risers).
Kelly grew up raising English Springer Spaniels. Soon after moving
into their home Kelly talked Melissa into a puppy which became Cinna.
Melissa soon fell in love and became used to a dog around. Cinna is
definitely Kellys dog though. Two years after Cinna came into the
family Melissa Came home and told Kelly about a patients friend who
had Springer pups. Several hundred dollars and many headaches later
the marrige was official and Cinna became Cinna and clumsy Jake.
Melissa is very attached to this clumsy dog regardless of all the drool.
Kelly, Melissa, Cinna, and Jake are happy living in Springville.
Kelly and Melissa have been trying since marriage to add human beings
to their family but have been unsuccessful so far. Hopefully soon but
for now it Kelly and Melissa, the two human beings and Cinna and Jake
the two human dogs
